SL Ball_small The 'SL - Spirometry Education for Health Professionals' (SL-SEHP) is a comprehensive set of resources to assist health professionals recognise the essential requirements for quality assured, point-of-care spirometry and enable the reliable evaluation, reporting and clinical interpretation of test results.

PLEASE NOTE: If your primary role is to conduct spirometry testing and you are not already registered for the 'SL - Competency Assessment (SL-CA)' course, registration for this course will provide practical hands-on training and allow you to verify your competency in spirometry testing.

The Spirometry Learning – Competency Assessment (SL-CA) course is a comprehensive educational and training resource.

It provides health professionals who regularly conduct spirometry in their workplace with the expertise, practical skills and confidence necessary to recognise the essential requirements for quality-assured spirometry measurements, reliably evaluate, report and clinically interpret test results and achieve competency in spirometry testing.

There is no auto-registration available for the SL - Competency Assessment course.

The Spirometry Learning – Refresher Course (SL-RC) is designed to reinforce and consolidate the key elements of spirometry testing to those health workers who have previously completed a recognised spirometry training course such as the Spirometry Learning - Competency Assessment course.

It provides health professionals with the opportunity to enhance their expertise, practical skills and confidence, enabling them to recognise the essential requirements for quality-assured spirometry measurements, reliably evaluate, report and clinically interpret test results and achieve competency in spirometry testing,

Spirometry Learning - Spirometry Assessment Tool

SL ball_small The Spirometry Learning - Spirometry Assessment Tool (SL-SAT) is a resource for health professionals who wish to demonstrate competency in spirometry testing.

The SL-SAT allows spirometry operators to self-assess spirometry tests they conduct in their usual workplace. Their completed SL-SATs and accompanying spirometry test reports are periodically submitted for review by experienced respiratory scientists with feedback on the accuracy of these self-assessments regularly provided.
